Access to Services
You Said: “What services are running and how do we access them?”
The PPG wanted to be updated on any new services as well as being involved in practice workshops.
In 2025/26, the workshop agreed by the PPG was to carry out a seminar to encourage uptake for immunisations.
We Did
On 10/09/2025 A Seminar Workshop was run by Nurse Ceri . This was an informative seminar with the following topics discussed:
- RSV, Shingle, Pneumococcal, Flu and Covid Vaccines as well as childhood immunisations that would follow the new schedule out.
The workshop explained how vaccines work, concerns around vaccine safety, side effects and ingredients. This was a Questions and Answer workshop. The Workshop was run in two sessions, first targeting children in this group as well as defaulters and pregnant mothers. The new immunisation schedule was discussed. Second, another seminar was run for over 65 year old patients discussing the following vaccinations :- RSV, Shingles, Pneumococcal, Flu and Covid vaccines.
Patient experience
You Said: “ Tell us how you monitor service delivery”
They wanted the practice to find out the views from our practice population with a view to improving patient experience via themes from surveys, friends and family data and patient feedback.
We did
During the year the practice shared with the PPG the following data:
The friends and family data (FFT) was shared with the PPG and wider practice population on 13.6.2025 and 18.11.2025. This is an in-house survey that asks patients to state whether they would recommend the services provided at the practice to to family and friends . Patients are invited to comment . The practice has trained a Patient Lead to listen to feedback and report back to management on themes from the surveys. This in turn is fed back to patients via the FFT survey results leaflet.
During the year the practice shared the General practice Analysis Survey results (GPAS ) with the practice and PPG. Consecutive survey results were demonstrated for 23/24 and 2025 .
Training was given for the digitally excluded patients in May and December 2025 guiding them on how to complete e-consults, how to use the NHS app and how to access all services without using external methods
Patients were able to share their experiences at Patient group meetings and workshops throughout the year held on the following dates: 13.6.2025, 18.11.2025 , 10.09.2025 and 17.2.2025.
